Terri O'Connor has joined CHS Consulting Group

CHS Consulting Group is excited to welcome Terri O’Connor to the team as Principal Planner. Terri brings over 18 years of experience as a transportation planner in California and has worked on award-winning projects for MTC, BART, and the City of San Diego. She is an industry expert in developing comprehensive parking management plans, Transportation Demand Management strategies, and implementation plans. In addition, Terri has developed comprehensive parking management and vehicle miles traveled reduction strategies for public and private clients to meet TDM/mode share goals. Terri’s consulting work emphasizes a community-based, consensus-building process to develop guiding principles, which are used to steer the development of future parking and TDM plans. Prior to joining CHS, Terri was a Principal and Sector Leader with Nelson\Nygaard, where she tapped into her passion for helping communities understand parking as a means to achieve their economic, land use, and mobility goals.  Terri will lead CHS’s parking and TDM practice.

CHS Consulting Group Welcomes Savannah Everett

CHS Consulting Group welcomes Graphic Designer and Marketing Coordinator Savannah Everett to the team. Savannah is a transplant from Missouri who made the journey west a little over one year ago. She has four years of experience as a graphic designer in the exhibit design and Architecture/ Engineering/ Construction (A/E/C) industries. 

While working for Taylor Studios, Inc., an exhibit design firm in Illinois, she designed and produced large format graphics, text panels, labels, murals and directional signage for projects that had varying scopes and budgets. Savannah was responsible for taking graphics from concept through final print production. Notable clients include: 

  • Beaver Lake Nature Center, Baldwinsville, New York
  • Mahaska County Conservation Board’s Environmental Learning Center, Oskaloosa, Iowa
  • Jacksonport State Park Visitor Center, Jacksonport, Arkansas
  • Kenosha Public Museum, Kenosha Wisconsin  

Prior to joining CHS, Savannah worked as a graphic designer on an internal marketing team at an architecture studio. Responsibilities included social media, presentation and proposal design, and as-needed collateral. 

Savannah is a detail-oriented person who has experience balancing the work load of client-driven projects and internal marketing work. 

After living in a landlocked state for most of her life, Savannah enjoys her 15 minute walk to the beach.
